THE DREAM MAKER
Dualin Blu Moon was selected by us as a weanling because we knew his dam and believed that he would make a stallion prospect for us. We knew that we liked Once In A Blu Boon and that he was known for having offspring that were willing, trainable and easy to get along with.
After researching his dam, Fantastic Plastic LTE $49k, we felt that he was the right one. Fantastic Plastic was known for being an absolute joy to be around, willing, trainable, had so much try, and tenacity on a cow.
Our dreams have been fulfilled by owning this great stallion. From the beginning, he has been absolutely wonderful minded, polite and trainable, and willing to do anything that is asked of him. Justin Mueller put the first couple of rides on him before he went off to training. As a 3 year old he won a local futurity and then went on to the Snaffle Bit Futurity with Lance Scheffel, owner of LRS Performance Horses, and was an Intermediate Open Finalist in a field of almost 300 horses. He had a huge score of 222.5 in the Fencework and came in 6th place overall. Since then, he was won multiple futurities and derbies in both the Open classes with Lance and also being shown in the Non Pro Boxing derbies with Kelsey Mueller.
We feel it is amazing to own a horse that is competitive in the Open classes, but still good minded and polite enough to be shown by his owners in the Non Pro. He is always well behaved and gives it his all. We can’t say enough good things about this great stallion. We are blessed to have him in our lives and so excited to see his first foal crop in 2025.
Dualin Blu Moon is standing to the public for the first time in 2024 and is already booked full for this breeding season. We will open his books in August for 2025 breedings. He stands at Abraham’s Equine Clinic in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
